Pilots

  Precision Helicopters' Operations Department employs only highly experienced, professional pilots. The combination of clean, well maintained helicopters and friendly, knowledgeable pilots create a positive and safe working relationship with our customers.

Our pilots receive annual proficiency and safety training in our FAA Part 135 training program. The Part 135 system consists of flight training to Commercial Pilot standards and enrollment in a DOT drug program. This training combined with additional specialized training ensures the customer they are flying with some of the safest, most professional pilots available.

Specialized training consists of annual AMD - US Forest Service standardization, FAA Part 133 External Load proficiency, full touch down auto-rotation proficiency, Advanced Mountain Flying techniques, as well as yearly reviews of how we as a team can provide even better service and value to our customers.

Precision Helicopters provides a stable work environment with long term, year round employment. After a short period, Operations pilots qualify for medical and vacation packages.

 

 

Operations Department Charter & Utility Pilot Minimum Requirements:

FAA Commercial Rotorcraft - Helicopter License
FAA Certified Flight Instructor - Helicopter Rating
FAA Class 2 Medical Certificate

Commercial Drivers License w/ Hazmat Endorsement

All pilots must meet FAA Part 135 requirements, be able to pass a federal background check to be carded by AMD and the US Forest Service.
